Modbus read operation has read 0 bytes

The Modbus operation has read 0 bytes message appears when many read operations are performed and no data is received (anymore) and no valid frame could be found.

Possible solution(s)

Is the connection with the device still active and uninterrupted?
Try to re-connect with the device.
