A coupler is a piece of equipment that is used during EMC measurements. It's primary purpose is to have an indication of an high power RF signals making it possible to measure the RF power. A (directional) coupler is used between the Amplifier and the Antenna. One or more Power Meters are connected to the monitoring outputs of the coupler.

All the device drivers for couplers maintain the following information:

  • Allowed frequency range
  • Coupling factors of the monitoring outputs

Couplers are only used during Immunity tests.

A complete list of all supported couplers by RadiMation is available on this RadiWiki site.
